Miles For Midwives is an annual event that brings together those who support quality healthcare for women, pregnant people, and families in our community! This annual fundraiser benefits Oregon Affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives and the Oregon Midwifery Council and aims to bring out all ages, genders, and fitness levels for an event of fun and community building. ACNM's and OMC's work helps midwives make a difference in Oregon healthcare through scholarships, educational projects, and legislative action that strengthens midwifery and supports access to healthcare for Oregon birthers and their families.
Every year, 10% of the proceeds from Miles for Midwives is directly donated to a deserving organization that supports women, pregnant people, families, and the professionals who care for them. This year we are donating these proceeds to The Center for Hope and Safety, which is a 501(c)(3), independent nonprofit offering safe refuge and support to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking.
